Normaton-based online auction house BPI appoints two new directors

Joe Hodgson joins BPI Auctions from his previous position at Fabricom after a successful 15-year career in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

Peter Clouston will also join us after a successful 30-year career working with SMEs and corporations up to CEO level.

Mr. Clouston will focus on developing the industrial division of BPI, using his experience in nuclear, renewable oils and energy.

The appointments mark a period of growth for the Wakefield-based auction platform, which has invested heavily in changing traditional auctions and providing a top-notch online service to bidders and sellers.

Mr. Hodgson said: “I am delighted to take on this role at BPI Auctions to develop the new industrial division within a dynamic company. I look forward to creating new customers and retaining existing customers.”

Mr. Clouston added: “I am delighted to join the fantastic team at BPI Auctions at such an exciting time for the business. The new industrial division is something new and completely different from anything on the market, and we look forward to unveiling it to our customers, old and new.”
