Like most areas of the auto trade, the pandemic has reshaped a lot – but not everything has changed as drastically as car auctions.
While many still operate solely online, most now combine physical and digital sales even more than before.
Our winner, G3 Vehicle Auctions, has invested heavily in new premises and has worked hard to satisfy all of its customers, whether online or in person.
Gareth Jones from G3 said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this award and it is even more special to win it for the second year in a row.
“It proves that we are doing something right, because our dealers are voting for us. We work very hard to make sure our customers get what they want from us.
“It’s great to get this recognition. It’s kind of validation that we’re doing the right things.
“We’ve invested a lot of money and time into this platform, so it’s good when something like this happens.”
“Getting the votes to win the award for a second year means we are truly over the moon.”
Jones said G3 is a “big proponent” of physical sales, but is working hard on its digital offering to make it even better.
He added: “As much as we push the physical footprint on the auction side, we are building new digital tools. And before the end of the year, we’ll be launching an assessment tool to take on the big guys.
“So the next three to six months will be very digital. There are a lot of innovations that we are working on with very good partners to be able to offer our products to resellers in a different way.
“Everything we have done at our physical site has been technology driven. So we take this initiative and then put it online.
